- How my original inspiration came from my love of travel and enjoyment of sharing that with my grandchildren. Below are photos of my two youngest grandchildren in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and on Mackinac Island in Michigan. These were trips that inspired Haunted Hills and Mystery Island.
