Inside the Menger, beauty and history surround them at every turn. But these corridors are not empty. Guests have long reported seeing the ghost of Sallie White, a former maid who still lingers within the hotel. In Ghostly Tours, Lillia discovers that Sallie may have more to share than anyone expects.
Among the spirits said to walk the halls of the Menger is Richard King, founder of the famous King Ranch. Lillia and Nora stay in the King Ranch Suite, where his presence has often been felt by guests. When Lillia encounters him, she realizes that even the most powerful figures from history may still have a role to play.
